The ever-changing landscape and rich flora and fauna of my surroundings deeply inspire my work. My creative process often starts with a west coast adventure. I enjoy spending my time outdoors and find myself in a constant study of light and atmosphere. The vivid colours, dynamic forms and subtle harmonies of the wild resonate with me and I find inspiration in those moments.
For me, art and nature are intertwined in their healing tranquility. We all have an inner connection to the natural world which I try to translate within my paintings.
I strive to capture the fleeting beauty I see.
My current artwork is done with oil, acrylic, and resin on canvas, as well as diverse surfaces like boat floats, metal relics, and driftwood.
